Lloyd Lee Wilson is the author of the 1993 book, Essays on the Quaker Vision of Gospel Order. He is also author of some pamphlets including Wrestling With Our Faith Tradition, Who Do You Say I Am, Radical Hospitality, and also another book, Memoir of the Life and Religious Labors of Lloyd Lee Wilson.

His original involvement was with Friends General Conference ("Liberal" Friends - he was Executive Secretary of FGC for 3 years in the 1980s), but his seeking to faithfully follow the inward guide led him on a journey to Conservative Friends ("conservative" in this context means holding to older/original Quaker ways, not politically conservative) where he has been minuted as a recorded minister of the gospel, Society of Friends, since 1989.
